Kipungani Environmental Kindness Club
Kipungani School is among the four schools in Collaboration with Lamu Marine
Conservation Trust in the mobile education programme.
We really thank Tusk Trust www.tusk.org for their efforts in publishing the
Face books and educational Films with their logistical assistance which are all very usefull to us.
Also special thanks go to the African Env Film Foundation for their env cassettes.
The progrmme is running smoothly and efficiently, we are intending to extend this programme to
the Eastern archipelago once we get more funding.

It is all about interest ! I am Atwaa Salim back home, having finished my bachelors degree from the university of Nairobi. I am now the co-ordinator of Lamu Marine Conservation Trust. Having volunteered for two years, I found the conservation of the natural resourse inclusive of turtles as very important. We are a group of ten people. We have got 4 guards a captain and a crew, with 3 office bearers. We are all from local communities around Lamu.
